Zig Wag Advertising
Here is a PDF file I have compiled showing various magazine ads and hardware store/retailer/jobber/wholesaler catalogs which feature Zig Wags as well as other baits. These old ads can be decent research material yet often times pose more questions than they solve. For reasons unknown (probably due to costs) Heddon did not update their illustrations used in ads very often, many times using the same dated illustrations for many years after a bait was changed/modified or hardware changes. For this reason, it is difficult to use ads for specific dating purposes but at the same time, can provide a few clues. If anything, I find these old ads enjoyable to view and hopefully you do too.
